At just 12 years old, I launched my very first business—Sensational Stationery! I mean, who doesn’t love a good alliteration, am I right?
Picture this: a binder bursting with Microsoft Word clip art borders and matching envelopes, all sold door-to-door with my little sister by my side. Despite the cringe-worthy images, sky-high prices, and not-so-quick turnaround times, my amazing neighbors supported me wholeheartedly.
I probably should have known that girl would become an entrepreneur someday…
My morning starts with joy as my default. Life's too fleeting to feel any other way. My grandma coined it my "happy genes" and I promised her I'd never lose them.

Balancing my full-time role in corporate retail strategy and events. Over a decade in this industry has honed my eye for design, expertise in marketing and social media, and skills in team leadership and bringing creative visions to life.

Fast forward to 2023, after over a decade of honing in on my skills in the dynamic events industry, I felt a call to create my next chapter. Drawing on the confidence and determination of my 12-year-old self, I founded Kristen Gornall Events. The name? A nod to the fact that I am the secret sauce, the heart and soul behind the brand - I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Creating tangible, real-life outcomes for people brings me absolute LIFE. End of story.
This early venture taught me more than just the basics of business. It ignited a passion for creating and connecting with people and throughout various industries, that remained constant.
